Not good news that as just when you think they have made a small step backwards losing Tonks they only go and sign Dom Maloney.
Aargh, that puts them as favourites again next year for me with us hopefully a close second.
Where they getting all their money from I keep asking???

Maloney is a good signing for them but Tonka will take some replacing. If we can keep Morrison fit i think we will be a match for their pack.

great signing for them, but loosing their best prop in and captain in Tonks is gonna be hard to replace......

for me we have 'on paper' the best pack in the league. we'll just have to see how they gell.

its gonna be an exciting year for Fev and Fax again, just hope we can all get back to what really matters - 'the rugby'!!!

Tonks wasn't the captain - Stu Dickens was/is.
I remember so many on here suggesting the loss of Briggsy and Zac Hardacre would "stuff us up"! We got over it and actually looked a more balanced side after they moved on. I actually think the new signings will slot into an already settled team relatively well annd if they don't there's enough depth to absorb it.

This year we've gone more or less half a season with only 2 props! Now we've got 5 big bug_gers!

Many say the same about fax

Looking forward to Maloney trotting out for us next season and beyond some of you have really hyped him up and i would like to believe it

It's common knowledge Fax have let a LOT of players go.

Salary bill might even be less in 2012

Someone asked me the other day, I mentioned a lot of the players going who would have been on the better wages, but also, we may have provided a house/flat or whatever to some of the Aussies, not sure but its not uncommon for some clubs to do that, next season we don't have anyone who'd fall into that category so that must be some money saved too

As for Maloney going to Fev, we *should* have had first option on him being we held his registration til the end of this season, perhaps this is something Rhino considered and decided Dom didn't fit in his plans

The clown who wrote that on the Fev website is clueless.Maloney only played in a pre season comp so not quite sure how he could have had a "Boom Year"! Maloney is a good signing and Fev sre still favourites.The question is whethet they can hack the pressure something they have struggled with when facing Fax.
