But how many regular Fax fans will say "Oooh it's only £30 for a Giants season ticket - I'll go watch them".
I don't buy this "SL alternative" to watching RL when it comes to the hardcore of Fax fans remaining. Sure, we've lost plenty to Bradford but that was a decade ago. I just think it's "times are hard" factor - I haven't bought a season ticket so I will be paying on the gate and I will attend every home match. Could the club have afforded a Giants style cheapening? Could the club afford not to? It is a worry if this is the case.
A big row on the Leythers board over the weekend on this subject , we have deals where fans can pay monthly , pay on a match basis cheaper than last season , or a one off ST
It would seem that isn't enough options for some fans , and they pointed out the same ' SL is a similar price ' argument
Unfortunatly until we all start getting non RL funding , nothing will change , the loyal fan has to pay more to keep us all going , and the value for money argument cannot come into it
Like yourself it will probably be the individual match ticket for me this year
