Well you'd think not Richie, and for years I would have agreed with you. But there is a spark of optimism about the place at the mo that's difficult to disengage from.
As always at Fev it's 2 steps forrad one back, but the fact that it's forrad momentum at the mo represents a complete reversal to the years of decline I've witnessed these last 2 decades!
Last July, we all new Wakey were coming down and the Crusaders project was safe in the RFLs hands.
I'm not sure that Wakey are that safe. I'm not sure any club is. If rumour is to be believed, Fev were contacted as a 'fall back' to step up if one of the current SL clubs went R's uppards in the closed season. As I said, that's rumour and I have no evidence to underpin it as fact.
But, IF fev did keep making progress, there are some vulnerable clubs in SL owd cock! Both Fev, Fax and Leigh may well be fighting it out for a spot!!
