Well KH after watching todays events unfold you are going to have to tempt me with a quality Hooker and Half Back to renew the season ticket
I dont want anymore Forwards just ball playing link people. It was as clear as it ever will be today to everyone ,that work needs to be done on our 6/7/9/13 pivots. They were just all over the place. Some tried today some didnt and I dont need to name names, some were semi effective and some just plain not effective. I will also accept in mitigation some were playing with injuries.
When I wake up at xmas can I be happily surprised please to still be a Fax season ticket holder with renewed enthusiasm.

Northern rail cup winners, 3rd in the league, 60 points away at Featherstone, 60 points away at Sheffield... But hey, don't let any of that affect you making a knee jerk reaction.

Yet bar 1 or 2 games it has still been relatively unfulfilling to watch, i've often got bored during games something which i've never really found before

12 posts? Obviously a new fan who can't remember when we had an attack, flair, entertained and finished 2nd & gotta Grand Finals

NRC Final apart, this hasn't been the greatest from a fan perspective. Most games we've either won at canter, scraped a win when we should have won at a canter, lost when we perhaps should have won (we're getting to the odd couple of good games now) and got soundly beat a couple of times (one of them today). Plus the odd highlight, .... errrm
I'm blue 'n' white through and through, but this hasn't been the best season to write home about.
For me today, getting the real basics wrong were the worst (like passing the ball - I think Penky's a fantastic player, but firing a bullet pass into Jim's face?!).
With less injuries, we may still have been in the playoffs (we threw away a couple of try-scoring opportunities in the first half, and at 16-12, the game could just have gone a different direction), but roll on 2013, and hopefully better style of play - more disciplined and organised in defence (especially in our own 20) and more inventiveness (or freedom?) in attack.

Today was dire, no doubt... But in my opinion the season has been a success. Cup winners and league contenders with what is in effect a brand new squad riddled with injuries. I look forward to renewing my season ticket no matter who is bought in or sold on.
