Orlfc Oldham RoughyedsHALIFAX'S Anthony Bowman, a 21-year-old midfield general, will sign for Oldham on a month's loan tonight when he trains with the Roughyeds for the first time.
The deal has already been agreed with both Halifax and the player and all that remainsto be done now is for Bowman to put pen to paper.
A similar set of circumstances surrounds Salford City Reds' centre Jon Ford (19), who has played five games for Oldham on dual registration.
He will also sign tonight on a month's loan, thus ensuring that he will be available to Roughyeds for the next four or five games.
Mid-season recruitment doesn't end there.
Determined to maintain the momentum arising from four wins in the last six games, coach Scott Naylor plans to bring in two more young players on dual registration from partner club Salford.
If all goes according to plan, Bowman, Ford and the two so far unnamed dual-reg players will all be scrapping for places in the squad travelling to South Wales on Sunday for the showdown with the Scorpions at Neath, kick-off 3pm.
