I tend to find the away support from whatever club has remained consistent. Not much difference when you take league position into account but the home fans have dropped off across the board and floating fans are now extinct.
I would now welcome seeing a fickhead duckwhit with a Dulls Whino shirt on at The Shay yet a few years back, I would laff at their arrogance cos they thought they were being a "true fan supporting the game" but by the same token many fans from our league would go watch Stupid League games back then but now stick with Sky.
Times are tough, friendly pounds are few and far between so we all stick to what we really enjoy (Shot finances allowing)
Nah the guy is right away support has dropped to an alarmingly even lower number with the exception of us, Fev and Leigh. Teams like Swinton and Dewsbury used to bring 60 or so fans but now its around 20 at most!
Even Keighley who are just over the hill bring hardly anybody now and you look at the crowd when we visit these teams and its scary there are so few. Yer our crowds have dropped this year and I think a huge factor in this and the other clubs support being down is a lot of people's disillusionment with the game itself and a big part of that is no P&R.
Thing is you hardly see anything or anybody wearing anything to do with RL, just the odd Leeds Rhinos shirt or top but very few other clubs even when I was in Brid the other week where you used to see Cas, Wakey, Hull FC and Hull KR shirts but saw hardly any!
The only good thing is no Bulls shirts or car stickers around much these days, good!
