Now the dust has settled on yet another home league defeat to Fev I started to think about the future and hopefully new structure in the game with P&R back in whatever format, this made me think that to be honest this season is pretty meaningless apart from the prestige of finishing top dogs and winning a couple of trophies (not saying I wouldn't mind winning the GF but it no longer counts regards SL as Franchises are dead or about to be), but in the scheme of things this season means nowt.
Next season is a year where we need to strengthen the team in readiness for a push at getting up the league when P&R returns in 2015 which will be a huge year.
Which makes me think will Fev have benefitted from these last 4 years of finishing top? Not really.

Of course there's a benefit. The consistently top clubs will be able to attract the players they need. The clubs that may or may not make the cut as they have good and bad seasons may find it harder.

When worrincy signed he said there's players who want to play for fax, that is what we want. Have them come to us and we can sign the players who are right as long as the finances are correct.

Yer true Brew, I meant a benefit to getting into SL, maybe but things are cyclical and Fev have had 4 good years now things don't last forever!

I think the future is bright for Fev for as long as Mr Nahaboo continues to take an interest.

Anyone interested just take a look on the Rovers home website for the latest anouncements from the Fev club and Faisal.

Extra buisnesmen being added to the board, more shares being bought by FN to fund long lasting contracts, contact with the RFL to make Fev a top 3 SL club in the future etc.

Well I wish them luck but can't see it myself.

How long before he pulls out. With his track record I'd be surprised if he lasts the year out to be honest.

He s been here for a couple of year now and put a substantial amount of money in bringing some of his own business men in to improve things so looks like he is staying for the time being Fax fans may not trust him I don't know what he said when he was with you but he is doing well for us Just signed Andy Ellis on a 3 year contract I wonder who helped that happen

Some time has elapsed since his involvement with Fax.

Since then he has dabbled with Wigan and Cas, had a look at what was going on and finally settled at Fev.

I think any seeming hesitation on his part was largely down to how he saw the game.

I can remember his bemusement over the no PR situation which meant no matter what he or the club did the outcome was still down to others who clearly seemed to have no idea what they were doing.

No man with any sense and who is used to being in charge of their own destiny would want to be hamstrung like that or put their hard earned cash into a sport that was being run like that.

The circumstances are now changing and it seems like now there is a chance to progress again he is very much back onboard.

This is his third year of divvy up for us from PROBIZ! Money paid up front to strengthen the club in all departments but particularly on the playing front.
Predictions of not lasting the year have been hurled our way since Feishal got involved. He's still here and he's just bought more shares in the club!!

In all honesty I think we'd compete if he wasn't around. But his involvement certainly does appear to give us a better shot at it.
