Benny's strengths and weaknesses are easy to quantify. He was generally a very popular player at Fev for a couple of reasons - his defence is top class, especially given he's not the biggest, and he is absolutely the most enthusiastic guy on the pitch you'll ever see - it's like having a fan on the pitch, he punches the air whenever anything goes his team's way and generally fires everyone up, in a positive way. I don't think even his biggest fan would say he presents much of a threat in attack - he'll make the odd break, but he isn't the quickest from acting half back, and his distribution is ok but no more. I loved what Benny brought to Fev but can also understand why we've let him go. How the Fax fans react will depend on what their expectations are I guess, his strengths are very much in the defence/enthusiasm area (Daryl Powell described him as a dream to coach in terms of attitude) rather than kickstarting attacking moves.
