Did the trust board vote against the reduction in price or having (potentially 500) names on the home shirt?
It was a novel idea when the club brought it out and raised much needed funds, however I'm sure the club would get the same people to sign up to the concept if those names were placed on the away jersey. The club would also maximise sales on the home shirt as I'm sure that many people (like myself) are put off buying a shirt with all those names on it, however well intentioned.
I'd
urge the club to return to the classic 'name free' Halifax hoops we all love and put the names on the away jersey. I'm sure if we do that we'll sell more shirts at £45.00 (ish) a pop and they'd still have people queuing to pay their £10.00.
C'mon Mr Croad you know it makes sense....
