Halifax have confirmed they will kick off their pre-season with a high-profile game at Super League side Castleford on Boxing Day, with a noon kick off.
The game, which will serve as a testimonial for the Tigers’ long-serving prop Craig Huby, will be the first meeting between the sides since Brent Sherwin’s golden point drop goal gave Castleford victory in a Challenge Cup classic in 2009.
