Just read on Total Rugby that 6 Super League Clubs have walked out of the latest meeting with the RFL to sign off the changes for 2015 thus blocking any attempted vote! Looks like the battle lines are drawn!

Although in no way am I in favour of these teams walking out and I think they should have gone ahead with the vote as the majority of the teams stayed, however I do have some sympathy with the demands.They are wanting a review of the RFLs Governance and want to know why they cannot secure main sponsors , Woods & co don`t want any digging into the way they run the RFL.

It is fairly plain whats going on here, Lenegan wants Wood out, simple as, Nigels trying to hang on

The teams involved were.

Wigan.
Warrington.
Hull.
Hull KR.
Huddersfield.
Catalans.

On Sky it said the meeting tonight was with SL clubs and SL Europe to confirm SL going from 14 to 12 and had to be stopped when representatives from the above walked out.

Nigel Wood won't continue in his current role within the RFL organisation after the world cup, I am absolutely convinced. I don't think he will be around come the start of 2014 season.

I think your right,not sure about the 2014 season though.
Do you think SLE will be governing the whole sport or do you think we will still have a relatively independent body governing the sport?

Bring in Roger Draper. Printed money for the LTA and is a rugby league man. He'll need a hell of a lot of convincing though.......
