And Behold, a pale horse. And on his back his name was death.

The weekend starts on a Monday.

Perhaps we have a lot in common. : Wed Feb 19, 2014 9:27 pm
http://www.halifaxcourier.co.uk/sport/f ... -1-6438351

On Monday Karl alluded to our poor training facilities and the lack of crowds at our game.
Wouldn't it be better if both clubs were able to pull together, get together and find a "common" way forward?
Just a thought,
Take for example LSV, I believe at some time they host Leigh, Swinton, Manchester Utd reserves, and quite a few other teams.
Do any of those parties complain about each other.
Don't think so.
I might be wrong, often told I am.
So why can't we work together.

Too much jealousy. One has a rich history if success, the other has a catalogue of nothing.

I'll give you an example. You've posted this opening topic on here now. There will be a few negative comments about the footy lot but generally it'll be civilised and the thread will wither and die peacefully. Now post it on the footy forum. Then you will have your answer.

I've never expressed a problem with the ground being used by multiple clubs, it's a community stadium.

My views solely revolve around the ownership, and I believe that the ability of both clubs continuing to be able to play at the Shay would be best served by the council retaining ownership.

I have been to the Shay to watch a game of rugby league, albeit with a Fartown shirt on.

The most important thing with this is whether the BOD's of the clubs could agree.

If they can, a joint venture of some kind might have a chance of working if not then it won't.

My first season watching Fartown was their last season at Leeds Road, sadly I never saw the old ground.
