The result came on the back of some crunching tackling that really hurt the Dons and set the platform for the attack to rack up the points.

Some strong performances across the park today from the lads and very few mistakes, our completion rate on the attacking sets complemented the defence and forced a number of line drop out's which ran them out of juice in the end.

Dan Cowling is the hardest hitting centre I have seen for some time.

Good display from Fax this afternoon but Donny really unlucky with injuries and only had 14 fit players for the last 50 mins . They were shattered . Forwards ran well all day with Manning especially impressive .

Great game today. Every player went well. Hope the lads play well next week but then come out all guns blazing against Leigh. Well done lads!

Well played from a Donny fan , the 3 injuries really hit us hard , Fax were far superior . Well played today !

Very impressive performance today. Some entertaining rugby and great defence on show. We have now turned over last years Champions in Sheffield, and a team that was 2nd in the league before todays game( having beaten both Batley and Featherstone to get there) Fax are hardly a five drives and a kick team on what I saw today and last week at Whitehaven. I am sure Widnes will be enjoyable, whatever the result, but the next big test is playing Leigh- an unbeaten team top of the League. Top games coming thick and fast.Enjoy.

The pack performance bordered on brutal at times today!!! Great performance from 1 - 17, and we might have just got a gem in Ben Johnston!!!

leigh will not be a test for you if our last too games are anything to go by made a bad team look good today and lucky to get the result in the end can't wait to come over but play like we are doing and we will be getting our first defeat at the shay.

A cracking afternoon, great rugby, I thought we were brilliant at times. No disrespect intended but Donny were poor and Paul Cooke didn't have the best of games. However that doesn't detract from a good team performance.
To say we were very good in defence would suggest that Donny were on our line a lot, our defence was on their 20 yard line. Superb kicking and following up.
I think the team is set up for hard pitches which until today we haven't had, come on you doubters two great games coming up we can do it.
Stayed back after the game to just have a quick chat with Paul Cooke, he said it was a hard game and he was disappointed, but he said " We will be alright" I think he is right.
I had a great friend who was a Donny supporter, who died too early,
I like Donny and thought of Gordon today.

Naughty Naughty, Leigh will be a very hard test for us and show just how good we are.
