Well not a lot of reaction on here yet so I will start. I thought we went o.k. but still made hard work of it. Keighley were ok but nowt special but the game could have gone either way with 20 mins to go so well done Fax for getting on top and seeing it out. Cheery Tree , shudds Elland Eden 4.2% Mmm!

Well said Hudd, when we lose all the doom mongers are on here early, win and there is nothing to moan about,
I actually thought we were very good today, and it was a very entertaining game, according to social media (of which I know nothing but was told) Danny Jones said they would smash us, he said there were a lot of scores from ex Fax players to prove.
Well, all of those "ex Fax" players were mediocre, as I say, I thought we were very good, but hey, what do I know.
Changing moment? Peter Fox? Why, answers on a post card!
In my humble opinion, well done Fax.

Well earned win in the sun. Glad to see Ste Tyrer being cheered. Kicked well today only missed one and it wasn't an easy one. Their first try came after they tried to pull Luke Ambler 's head off. Hope Scott Murrell is ok. Scored some very good tries today. Decent following too.

Well said Neil, should have been a penalty to us, as I have said on the other thread they just wanted to halt us, well done Fax for not getting drawn into it.

I thought we did ok. One or two good signs. Fox didn't have a particularly good debut. I still thought, with 20 to go, that we could actually loose it. Thankfully I was proved wrong. Anyone see March on the petrol station? Lol.

I didn't see anything, however, that made me feel we could compete at Leigh. Hope I'm proved wrong again.

Shame that Fox did'nt live up to expectations - hopefully he will soon settle in to the team. We need to get Potts back and playing to his potential for Leigh now that Tommy has gone

I hope your proved wrong again ( though by competing I mean only losing by a few points)

Halifax are a top team and still one of the best teams in the championship.

I have been saying this for most of the season , Fax are still in the mix especially if they can beat Fev , I think the Game at the LSV , will shape Faxes season , hopefully we can win this , but I don't take nowt for granted .I know Halifaxjohn is right in his call to back Fax and Karl H .

Sums it up well.
Our defence held up well especially when under the cosh in the second half.

Few days now to get the bumps and bruises healed and work on our game.

Not a great game and a bit poor at times from both teams but we won and we picked them off at the end so well done for playing to the hooter, maybe this will give us some confidence for the Leigh game, we need it!
