According to the Whitehaven forum the try that gave them the lead with ten minutes to go came about because Whitehaven forwards drove in a scrum to win the ball.

Not against the rules but almost an unwritten rule, not very sporting in my opinion when one team is unawares.

It happens all the time in youth games. So it's not a freak moment. But it doesn't happen as much In the professional game because the players are so strong now they can just hold any push really.

Not at all an unwritten rule. Every scrum is competitive.

Do teams actually push Dutchy?

If they do I've missed it, when I watch a game I only see 12 people forming the shape of a scrum and waiting for the ball to enter the second row and straight out the back.

A serious question, do you see teams pushing and the other holding it easily often?

So not being "in the know" do I take it that Tonks will not be at Fax next year and that Fev fancied getting him earlier by swapping him with Hirst?
