had a thought. When we travel away, we always seem to spread ourselves out around whichever ground we're visiting which makes generating an atmosphere almost impossible. Does anybody think we would benefit from all sitting/standing together when we travel so we can build up some noise? Although we didn't have too much to cheer about last year on the whole, when we all sat together at Fev away we were able to get the chants going and a few of the lads mentioned it was great to see us all together when they were coming out
Certainly do.
Small problem, some of us like to be behind the posts and some of us on the half way. I normally stand behind the posts at Fev but last year didn't feel too welcome (not wanting to start an argument) so I stood on the touch line with quite a few others. Coincidentally that is the most sensible position for me as its just next to the chip van and I was able to sneak in two excellent portions.
Hopefully there will be a lot more of us travelling next year (remember the old days with half a dozen Golden Riders on the M62?)
Well lets try and get back to that.
If you want to be our leader, I'm with you faxfanman, study the ground before each game and let us know where is best.
Perhaps post it on this forum and get the club to post it also.
See you all in the toilets at Leigh for a smoke.
