2015 Predict the table. : Wed Feb 04, 2015 9:54 am
1)Leigh
2)Sadford
3)Fev
4)Fax
5)london
6)Sheffield
Would personally settle for a top 4 place.Seen reference to us being predicted as 7th
where did that come from ? Don't see London and Bradford as being head and shoulders above the other championship clubs.

Well for what it's worth my predictions for the coming season are.
1.Leigh.
2.Bradford.
3.Fev.
4.London.
5.Fax.
6.Seagulls.
7.Dews.
The others could be in any order, we all have our opinions, personally I think it will be a great Season , I can't wait as the resident Fax Genius GFB forecasts after 3 rounds Leigh will be bottom of the League  again his opinion, we shall see.

1. Dulls
2. Leigh
3. Landan mate
4. Fax
5. Fev
6. Eagles or Rams

Though to be honest it really is a finger in the air job, depends on how teams coming down react and who takes the points off who. Couple of long trips to Cumbria from London won't be easy either.

I predict it's probably irrelevant because we'll all get royally bent over in the middle 8 anyway.

London full strength team getting stuffed at Dewsbury makes you wonder what they are going to do this year. Proves to me that if Bradford or Leigh think for a minute they are going to Fax or Feath for a day out they are going to get spanked.

Will be between us and Fev for fourth place but could see Fev pipping us again. Sheffield look stronger and close between them and Dewsbury for 6th place. Full time teams will have advantage over part time.

1. Bradford
2. Leigh
3. London
4. Fev
5. Halifax
6. Sheffield or Dewsbury

1. Bradford
2. Leigh
3. London
4. Fev
5. Fax
6. Dewsbury
7. Sheffield
8. Workington
9. Doncaster
10. Batley
11. Hunslet
12. Haven

Bradford should win the league with their squad although Im expecting Leigh will beat them first game of the season. It would be nice for us to catch Leigh in the second game coming on the back of a defeat but just cant see it. London could be hit or miss, they probably wont be as bad as they were at Dewsbury again but most of the teams outside the top 2 are going to fancy a crack at them which could imo see both Fax and Fev make the top 4.

Fev going poop or bust by the looks of it trying to make the top 4 and I would like to see them lose a few games early on and see how they handle the pressure. Dewsbury are looking good and could easily be in the fight for 4th although Im not sure about Sheffield. I dont think their recruitment has been that good and losing Henderson could hit them hard. They still have the players that are capable of beating the top teams. I dont think they will make the top 4 but could have a big say in who does. The same probably goes for Workington, I just dont see them been good enough to win enough games to make the top 4 but are more than good enough to be beating the top teams and having a say who does.

Who knows with Donny, they are probably the hardest team to call in the division. Bottom 3 will be made up of Batley, Haven and Hunslet imo. Hunslet have made some shrewd signings but lack any real quality. Haven look very very poor and anything less than a win for us in the first game against them would be a disaster. Our bogey team Batley probably got ahead of themselevs against an undercooked Fev and came back to earth with a bang last weekend. For me on paper their team is very poor and nowhere near good enough to compete for 4th and lack the quality of teams like Sheffield, Donny, and Worky but should have enough to see off Hunslet and Haven without having to resort top cheating again to stay up.

That's an excellent post GFB and it emphasises how tough this competition is when someone with your knowledge is predicting the likes of Batley/Dons in 9/10th place.

Yes, it's a very tough call all the way through, we must be up for the Haven game, otherwise as GFB a says, it would be a disaster.
Sadly the tag line may ring true, every game counts!

Leigh looked class to me last season and have recruited well. They are certainly more used to the Championship than Bradford ! so will just edge that top spot. Every season seems to bring an outsider into the top 4 area and I think Dewsbury, who have recruited well, with a good coach will surprise some of the big guns on that postage stamp size pitch!
You can't bet against Fev being in the mix and London's home advantage will count, though they won't travel as well.
We are building for the future and this season could be too early for us to get that blend right with new players/new coach etc (Hope I am wrong of course) What is difficult to predict is who will take points off who and what impact that will have as this league will be incredibly tight this season. Roll on the new season.
