Well, I will be back in town in time for this game so barring any unforeseen disasters (like a HKR player on the team sheet) I will be there. Let's see if I can keep my run going of Fax not having lost a game that I have attended, since I moved to Aus ten years ago. Last time I was in town we put 60 past Leigh, but I will go for a more modest 34 : 20 win this time. Might even make an appearance in the Three Pigeons

Sam Barlow knocked out after 15 mins. Manning given 20 match ban- even though he was sat on the bench at the time.
Time to see where we really are at. If Leigh concentrate on rugby and nothing else it could be a difficult day at the office. If they start niggling and we have some strong officials then who knows?

The heart says Fax by 6. If this is the case get ready for these upstarts to start throwing their lucozade and weight about followed by a mass trial at Red Hall several days later.

Fascinating game this.
Both games last year could have gone either way.
Leigh are stronger now both on the team sheet and mentally having been there and done it, confidence backed up by real ability is written all over them.
Fax are stronger on the team sheet and won't lack for a positive mind set but it's not at the same level as Leigh with Fax being a new team with a new coach.
Anything could happen and I am swinging back and forwards from a great day for us and Fax by 10, to Leigh putting on a show and winning by 18.
I just hope there is a good crowd, the game is a cracker that does rugby league and both clubs proud.
Can't wait and whatever happens I going to enjoy it.

Looking forward to this game always like coming to Halifax good pubs good banter with fans and usually a great atmosphere and game, roll on Sunday.

Oh and think it will be a close game, hopefully Leigh by 12.

Can't see anything but a Leigh victory. Think it will be close up to the start of the second half but then they'll break free in the last 40. Who is the referee?

Always a great day out at the Shay, even my daughter can't wait as it has the chip van just outside if the stand.

Be a good game but think Leigh will take the points 28-18
