I thought Leighs first try was forward but looks ok on the video. The more I watch the 2nd try the more I am sure Kay's trailing foot is in touch before he grounds the ball.



Thats his trailing foot next to the line and he has the ball in his right hand and looks still a little short of the line. He bounces over the line and you can see his right arm up off the ground and still hasnt switched the ball, i actually thinks its still a little while before he grounds the ball by which time he is well in touch.

While you are watching G watch Liam Kay as he appears to reach the ball first and score before the Ref adjudged Brown kicks it dead,and watch as Johnny Powell knocks the ball Backwards before scoring his try to which Fax fans claim was a blatant knock on.

Have read the result in the Green Final and we lost. Congrats to Leigh who I thought just about deserved it on the day showing that little bit more creativity in the halves. Onwards and literally upwards to the mountain on the heavy woolen district hill. Time to topple the league leaders!

Watched the game from east stand for a change and was screaming forrad for first try
but on replay the winger overruns the centre but catches the ball behind himself.I agree
with you on second try but we are clutching at straws,the best side won.Pity about the pitch,would have loved to see how we faired on a proper surface,Leigh will claim they
would have won by 40 but we can play too and may have surprised them.

You know you have got under the opposition teams skin when you get them to react like the Leigh player did at the 3.23 mark.

As everyone knows I love a bit of a wind up obscene gestures and foul language are all unfortunately part of today's game,but I suppose Fax are holier than others ,look at Tyrer reaction after the tackle on Fui at around 3.12 in the film, he isn't wishing him happy birthday.

But we all know Mr Tyrer and his gestures from last season which came back to bite him on his Derriere.
