A trip up to Cumberland this weekend and a tough game in store. Last year we were lucky to come away with a point so we will have to be on form from the first minute. Our display against the bulls was excellent though and if we maintain that form then we should come away with the points. Workington 12v32 Fax. The Grove, Shudds. Oakham Scarlet Macaw 4.4 % Mmm!

Pete are you going up to Cumbria on Sunday?We are in Cumbria as well as we play Whitehaven, I think Fax should beat Town ,so I'm going for a score of Town 22 v Fax 26 yes I think it will be a very close game,Fax have to win every game from now on to reach the top 5 at best but I think you will lose games against ,Bulls, Seagulls,Fev ,and maybe Dews ,which means 7th spot as I predicted before, sorry but that's how I see it.
I missed most of my Fax friends at the weekend ,I DID go in the Excelsior Pub to meet LTD ,but somehow missed him,did you go Pete?Anyway let me know if you and Di are going to Cumbria?Squirrels Brush ,Cockermouth ,Britain 55 orange ,o.oooo% mmmmmmmmmm.

Charlie old friend, where were you on Saturday? Met Bentleyman, Salford lad, Fevgrinder and all of us said "Where is Charlie"
Anyway, Fax by 20, you might be right about those games you think we will lose, personally I am going for 5th, remember how bad Seagulls were on Saturday, (o'h you weren't there) Fev must have been pretty poor, lost by more to you than we have.
Whatever Charlie, Win or Lose, Some clowns are on the booze, but for you and me its tea for two.

Looking like a game we need to make sure we pay due respect to the opposition from the off and for the full 80, as they don't go away-as the Haven game on Sat showed. Good goal kicker as well. Few busted players by the look of it with Luke, Robbo and Maneely struggling. We should have Braceck back and I am sure Dickinson and Barber will get another run out and there could be a new water bottle carrier this week as well !!!!!
Charlie I was indeed with Mrs LTD at the Excelsior but there were that many clowns in with bowler hats and red noses I didn't know which one you was! (Have PM'd you)

Charlie, Diane and I aren't going to Cumbria but we are indeed going to Cumberland. Breakfast in Keswick followed by a pint in Cockermouth, Mmm! Two away wins from Yorkshire and Lancs.

Good evening John,hope you are well?I was in Blackpool on Saturday I just didn't get to see the games,as Charlie Jnr has just Bought a Caravan in Fleetwood and Mrs Caroli and myself went to see him and his girlfriend and spent the day with them
I was at Bloomfield Rd for the second day and went in the Excelsior Pub but missed Dave (LTD) we ended up in the Old Bridge on Lytham Rd with plenty of Fev and Dews fans along with many Leythers of course, but I met up with Frank (Salfordlad)inside the ground,inside do hope to see you again this season.
As for Tea or Coffee?inside never touch either,inside me been teetotal for 30 years now , since I met Mrs Caroli for me it's Coke and Orange juice, I'm sure both Fax and Leigh will come away from Cumbria happy on Sunday.Charlie knows.

Dave,I was gutted not to meet up with you, I DID go in the Excelsior , we arrived in there about 2 PM the Centre V Inverness game was on TV , a few Centre fans in green shirts watching , after we went to the Old Bridge down the road,I will try to meet up as I hope to get to a Fax game before the season ends,I have read your PM .
Whatever team Fax turn out on Sunday it should be to strong for Worky , but I think it will be a close game 22 v 26 in Faxes favour.

Workington have only won four league games this season. Doncaster twice and Whitehaven twice. The teams below them in the table.

They have a negative points difference of -151.

Whilst they always perform well at home Fax should deliver some of the "promise" from other performances or be taking a backwards step. Anything less than a comfortable win should be unacceptable irrespective of the location.

I will go for a Fax win by three tries. 12-30.

I agree that anything other than a win will be a backwards step but having seen the weather forecast go for Fax by a handful of points in a poor, scrappy game.
