Dont think you have give it to Rowley, best squad in the league by a mile.
That wasn't the opinion at the start of the year. Bradford were tipped as faves by the majority of fans and were also the bookies faves for top spot. We were tipped for 2nd/3rd and about level with London. We certainly weren't expected to win by 6 clear points.
Last year we were tipped for 2nd behind Fev at the start of the year and ended up winning the league by 15 points.
That isn't meant as a brag, my point is that despite having one of the best squads for the past 2 seasons we have still 'over achieved' compared to expectations at the start of the year.
We only lost one league game last year but Paul Cooke got Coach of the Year over Rowley. Then this season Rowley has lost one league game all season again and Paul Cooke won none and got sacked.
Marshall has done a brilliant job and has definitely over achieved. Looks to be the best appointment Fax have made in years. But I fail to see what more Rowley could do. We weren't favourites for either of the last 2 seasons and yet we have only lost 2 games combined, none at home and won the league 2 years in a row by 15 points (3 point per win) and 6 points (2 points per win).
Taking a team that has a lot of expectation on it, and then exceeding those expectations 2 years in a row deserves Coach of the Year IMO.
Don't expect all of you to agree and if RM does win it then I'll congratulate him, he's done a top job.
