Well done lads you really put your bodies on the line today and as already posted elsewhere the score line flattered them I think 8-4 to them would have been the right one.I am still seething at the way a player can hold down in the tackle and save a certain try, we had a 3 on 1 overlap on their left but 'cos of the rules all we get is a penalty and their player gets a yellow, for me the RFL needs to look at this as the punishment does not fit the crime, maybe do like football and make it a red like the last man rule then players just won't do it as they know at the moment saving the try is more important than the penalty and sin binning as most times the offending team defend the next set of 6.
We did give them a lot of ball and it was not our best effort in attack tbh but credit Widnes they also have a good defence, we need another half back though on todays performance as all our kicks are through Scott whilst look at Widnes 75% went through Brown but 25% were through Mellor, Connor is not clever enough on the last tackle for me, how good was Jonno and our pack though?
Anyway great effort by the lads and great support from the Fax fans today.
