This is obviously one of the best teams we've had in a long time, are they as good as the grand final winning team of 2010?
Black, shad, worrincy at his peak, branigan, Nash, penky, larder
Vs
Murrell, cahalane, Moore, jonno, salty, Tyrer, manning
Etc
Team of 2010 prob sneaks it for me. Outstanding to watch. But would argue they were probably a better set of individuals, but no way are they even close to the 'team' we have now.

Imagine if we had the attack of 2010 with this teams defence, they would take some beating.

Agree with that and why I always said that it was those individuals that won us the Grand Final and not the coach!
We have no stars like then but this team is for me the best 'team' since 1998 and reminds me of the 1985/86 championship winning team for its work ethic and bodes well if we can get a decent half back and another winger onboard.

I expected that teams flair coupled with the present teams defence when KH arrived!! How wrong i was, flair removed , defence weak. I feel that we now just short another "flair" player or two and we on track again. Keep it up RM and the board.

I think our current team would win comfortably. Id also have all our current pack over the 2010 one.

This current team is far better for me. Teams invariably mirror the coaches personality; you always knew you were walking a tightrope with Callands team and that it could implode at any moment....and didn't it just.
Out of that roll call of players I'd probably only take Shad who was a fine player and would have thrived in this team.

Personally I'd have Shad, Blacky and Beswick, a few would have been close.
