We could have scored a few more and should have nilled them, but all in all excellent stuff and we have picked up from where we left off last season. The pack went well, Sharp looked Sharp, Johnno sniped, Salty worked hard, Tyrer playing some his best rugby, Gaz Moore kicked well, Muzza looks a few pounds lighter than last year, and opened them up several times, Ben Kaye is now a try a game hooker and Dane Manning, what can ya say, even during our glory years did we ever such a consistent hard working performer as Dane, maybe we had internationals but I for one am glad we have someone like him who gives his all everytime he steps on the pitch.

Big game this Fri would love to beat Sheff away we couldn't manage it last season. Need to keep feet on ground long season ahead but definitely can see we are going places (not this game the last 6 months improvements on and off the pitch)

Im so glad I have made you happy Harold,make the most of it,you asked what we won last year?The League Leaders Shield for a start, I agree less prize money than Fax , but Derek made the money up we lost and we spent more this season. There are bags of time yet, no leaky ships in Leigh, a loss yes , but that's all it is , believe me everyone WILL LOSE A GAME THIS SEASON, ours came early,it will be the wake up we need, no Hock or Patterson, or Lee Smith today,I'm glad Fax won, I wouldn't want to see Mr Jagger and Littlerich upset, by the way good luck on Friday.
