Bulls finish on Nil points : Sun Jul 23, 2017 10:24 pm
What the heck how did Swinton manage to beat them lot over the hill at Odslum after losing their best player and their coach???
So its is Nil points for the once mighty Bulls and unless the RFL change the league structure certain relegation as they would probably have to win all 7 games to stay up!
Justice will be done if they do go down like they should have for this season!

1 less big game for us next season. Just leaves Hull KR and Fev with any atmosphere.

3 or 4 wins in next few weeks and they could all be big games next season.:)

Unfortunately I have this awful feeling the RFL will keep us up which is the exact opposite Bulls fans want. We wanted to start again in L1 this year, but were kept in because the RFL wanted at least one day of the SB to look reasonable. If Fax, Fev, Sheffiled had have been liquidated, they would have been relegated. It was wrong. We are hoping we start in L1 this year so we can rebuild. I'll be sick f we stay in the championship.

Just regarding the game, Johnny Campbell was harshly (IMO) red carded mid-way in the first half. We had an inexperienced referee (not sure how many games he's refereed but he's certainly been a TJ a few times) but Swinton just took advantage by being the most unsporting team i've seen. We were too mentally weak to deal with it. There's a video on twitter of Shaun Robinson taking a dive, i'd suggest you all view it. That was the type of game and tactics we had to endure yesterday, along with Swinton players kicking the ball between themselves ala piggy in the middle, stopping Bradford getting it, throwing the ball in players faces etc. Was just farcical. I accepted relegation a month ago so i'm not bitter about losing, but i don't want to see players taking a dive, keeping the ball away at an RL game.

BTW, well done on the win yesterday :thumb:

Only mentioning what was in the press a week or so ago regarding the Bulls being kept up.
Rimmer was interviewed concerning this and he was adamant the Bulls would not receive any special consideration from the RFL and rubbished the conspiracy theories that they knew were being circulated.
Since then there has been the added speculation that in spite of what he said there still could be a life line depending on what happens with Swinton.
No idea of the validity of the above other than to say it was in the press.
What I do know is that from a crowd perspective not having the Bulls down at the Shay will cost us a lot of revenue, i haven't bothered to do the maths but more come from Bradford than the rest of the league combined apart from the likes of Fev.

From what I've read the majority of Bulls fans wanted to start the season in Champ 1 but the RFL had other idea, whilst I still think they would have struggled they could well have gone up via the playoffs putting them in a far better situation next season. If the leagues are shuffled around, who the hell knows, I bet the RFL don't even know yet, then it's not any privileged care of the Bulls it's big Nige just p!ssing about yet again.

Only time will tell, the middle 8's may prove superfluous, OR, if we finish 6th we could be promoted, now that would be interesting. Could the million pound game be between 6th and 7th?
