OK it was early, I was trying to put a point across before going to work and I feel I didn't make it well.My complaint isn't at the refs, and I thought the ref yesterday was one of the best I have seen so far.
Having watched a lot of games so far this season, I feel that the touch judges have been told to ignore or not give forward passes as so many happen that to me are blatant. I also feel that they could help in other areas and don't again to me this has to be instructions from the person in-charge. their is also inconsistency between rule interpretations by each official. If some one is in charge of the officials then how hard is it to get them all together and explain the way the rules should be applied, how to use your Touch Judge and how the Touch Judge should help the Ref.
This can only make the game better. I feel it makes the game look second rate sometimes with the inconsistency. I can accept that wrong decisions are made, that's part of the talking points of sport but the inconsistency just makes rugby league look unprofessional.
