Who did they think it was going to be? Announcement half way through the season, it was only ever going to be Betts.

I cant help but wonder what is going on now. It seems to be nailed on as he was seen on sky with the players, he is down as being football director in the Match day magazine, yet still nothing announced, no appearance yesterday ( but it does say it was family circumstances ) and the paper reporting still no pen to paper.

It strikes me as being strange as last week it was all just 24 hours away from being sign sealed and done. 5 days on from then and still nothing is announced.

I wouldnt mind to be honest. The rugby we play is good to watch but obviously we cant tackle for toffee. Maybe he can improve in that area given a million quid to spend. Im sure he will still have us playing some good rugby.

In SL where a single defensive mistake results in a try Calland would be a disaster. We should go NFL style and have Calland as offensive coach, get Phil Larder is as Defensive coach and Brian Noble as Head Coach/Team Manager.
