DR will be the death of Championship rugby. It stops young players signing for the Champ clubs and allows all talent to be sucked up into massive SL squads.

VM. I dont think its about TOC's style (I saw him interviewed at one of our dinners and I thought he was really entertaining), its the biased commentating that winds people up. When he is not commenting on Widnes games he is quite unbiased and is very knowledgeable its a shame he cant follow this through, then again I suppose its no different to Ray French and his love of everything St Helens.

Were inconsistent at the minute, one week alright the other a bit of a mess, if we can stay steady im confident we cant hit that 3rd position then the play offs is a lottery.

I would have liked Widnes to finish near the bottom with Halifax and with Toulouse bottom. Then I would have liked Fax to get a SL place as well. With Toulouse exempt and Fax and Widnes promoted the RFL could then relegate the 2 clubs above them and it would finally show Rugby League up for the shambles it has become.

The most interesting thing I heard was that the only player Widnes have signed up is Ben Kavanagh. It's all fair and well having all these dual reg/loan players in your squad but are they going to be signed up next year or buggering off back to their parent clubs once they have had their exposure?

In terms of the match it was a case of Widnes being pretty good but massively helped by Barra being inept. Top 4 side though.

I think a few more will get signed up mate.Betts is telling his players show me what you can do and then offer contracts.Kavanagh has been good all season so was the first.I think Craven,Hulme,Flynn,Tyrer,I,Anson,Coyle,Varkulis, and most of the youngsters will be signed up.The rest have to show what they can do till the end of the season.Next season a few will be in the reserves from Widnes, and then sent on dual to Championship clubs.I look forward to our benefit for a change.
