yer like you said don't want to be too negative but can you blame people for staying away after that dreadful match? It was awful, I stood there just wanting it to finish not enjoyable at all, the crowd was quiet apart from a few gobby Hunslet fans behind us, nowt to shout about and it was on Sky so why would you go if you are not a diehard fan like us lot? Hopefully some of us will make a better atmosphere at Fev next week, I am sure their noisy nutcases will!

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
Don't clubs get a 'quota' of tickets paid for having a Sky natch and can count them as well? Usual RL crowd fixing thing, like was there really 2500 at Leigh last week or really over 1800 at Sheffield when they played Leigh the other week? Not sure about last week as the standing was pretty empty, plenty in the seats including about 150 to 200 from Halifax, was there? My guess is 1450 tonight plus 500 Sky tickets.
Dwindling crowds are prevelant down here. Even Super League bound Widnes have suffered losses. Recession, indifferent performances and RFL HQ madness all contribute.
REMEMBER EVERY GAME IS A 'GLORIFIED FRIENDLY'. You can only get relegated from our league. salford, wakefield, harlequins, crusaders, etc would fare NO better in our predicament.
He meant that you can only get relegated from the Championship (not promoted).
Also, you can't get relegated from Superleague. You can, in theory, lose your license. Whether this will happen in practice we will soon see. Frankly I don't think the RFL will have the gonads.
