Constructive - Featherstone game - missed a trick there and now as such lots of fans arnt going next Thursday.
- Freebies - stop giving them out, as some one who pays religiously every week whats the point of me getting in free when i would normally pay. If the hangers on dont want to pay then rubbish to them, the club dosnt need them.
- The posters that people are moaning at, i mean for christs sake its just something so basic that should be sorted first thing Monday morning. If theres no money for them then do a deal with a local printers in return for some advertising somewhere, its not rocket science and its not like the club hasnt given out free advertising before is it. If people dont know theres a game on then how can neutrals be expected to turn up.

Im guessing the 13 hour day was just a passing comment but i guess thats part of the job on week day match days no? Theres plenty of people who work 60+ hour weeks and dont get paid that well for them so i wouldnt feel too hard done by.

Your right, it dosnt matter to us because we go every week because we know there is a game, but if the club wants to pull in some randoms offf the street then they may be of some use.

i picked up a buy one get one free voucher yesterday in the bakers opposite Greggs.

i am a season ticket holder, so had no use for it. So tryed to convince some pub go'ers to use it, people that dont normally go, and they declined.

its a difficult one with freebies really. that could have been 2 people going that would normally have stayed inthe pub -£15 to fax they wouldnt have normally had.

but if they get into the hands of people that normally pay full whack, theres no real advantage to the club....other than a higher crowd, anf maybe the chance that the 'freebie' will come back. on last nights finish to the game , maybe?!

Don't understand why office staff are commenting or biting on an unofficial forum?
I would suggest a thicker skin, if your gonna get upset by peoples opinions, your gonna have to realise there will always be those who agree or disagree with you.
You could simple ask people to take posters down themselves with your blessing

I bet that marketing data has brought a few home truths to people down there too

I think if i was told i was out of touch with reality i would bite as well. Richard has a log-on and a free entitlement to post on here just as anybody has. He's free to answer back. Do you just expect them to sit back and take it, especially from someone who hasn't the foggiest idea of what it takes to run a rugby club?

Richard is defnatley entitled to his opinion with out a doubt. I dont think people from the club would be doing their job right if they didnt drop in to the fans forum every now and again. Its probably good to get views of the fans that go to games week in and week out to see their views on which direction the club is going. They are not going to like everything they read but thats life isnt it but they must realise that 99%(no im not the 1%) of people who post on here just want to see what is best for the club.

Dunno about that, yeah i'd be hacked off for sure, but i think in lots of ways they have been doing a better job than we have seen for years so im a little surprised they haven't been able to shrug it off and just crack on with things. Kipling springs to mind and i dont mean French Fancies or Angel Cake.

Like i said though i am wondering whether people haven't been a little stung by the recent marketing feedback, people were probably more likely to criticise than praise, perhaps people are feeling a little bruised and under pressure.

Am sure if we can stick one over on Featherstone and allow Brian to continue to develop the playing squad, the marketing of the club will become much easier.
