I used to be supportive of them now they can rot in pub Ieague
Utter bollox. I have been fighting the corner of Fax on there but comments like this dont really help. Pub league? Come off it. Football is the most popular and well organised sport in the country unlike the shambles which the idiots at Red Hall have overseen. For a pub league, the average attendances of the Shaymen hasnt been too far behind that of Fax's and in our last major final, the Conference Play Off Final, there were over 6,000 there from Halifax.
There is a lot of mud that can, admittadly, be thrown at the Shaymen, but dont get delusions of grandeur over Fax's position. Rugby League is a fantastic sport, but being ruined by idiots of which seem to have a free reign against weak management of those in charge of the clubs. NL1 is not a million miles ahead of the sixth tier of English football which is where the Shaymen will be starting in less than a months time.
As for todays game. Thought Fax were extremely unlucky. Bossed the majority of the game but Leigh fell lucky with the timing of their possession in the dying moments of the game. Not to worry though. A pretty meanigless game.
So Bubba, it seems to me that most of the negativity comes from the Town fans on shaymen.net, how do you suggest we address it and get people pulling together?
I support both teams and have done for a long time yet some of the idiots on there truly get my goat. Mr V, Flea and all those plonkers.

You wont, sadly. Some have long memories and dont forgive easily. I think on the whole there is a lot of good will in existence between the two clubs but there will always been a minority on both sides who want to see the other side fail. Its not just a one way problem.
I am sure it did and it would have me had it been a similar match in football. But what significance does it have? It doesnt get you into SL. It doesnt earn you a massive pay cheque. OK, it earns the club a bit of respect but that was earned without winning come 80mins.

It's a cup final, what more singnificance do you want?.. only 8,000 other poeple thought it was significant as well

Bubba is afraid of them all
If you want their details I'll pass it on and you could meet them all for a pint.
