Super League deadline for signings was 8th July and has now passed for this season. Championship signing deadline is 22nd July and Championship 1 is 12th August.

Out of contract players can sign for clubs but are not able to play any part in this season if the deadlines have passed.

out of interest, where are they not on the same dates for all divisions?

they only start weeks apart.

It's to do with rounds remaining in the fixture lists as laid out in the operational rules.

C1:2:8 END OF SEASON REGISTRATION DEADLINES
(a) If any signing takes place or is authorised by the Board after close of business on the Friday prior to the last:

(i) Seven rounds of regular matches in Super League; or
(ii) Six rounds of regular matches in Championship; or
(iii) Three rounds of regular matches in Championship 1

then the Club shall not be entitled to play that Player in the remaining rounds or in any Match in the relevant Grand Final Series.

No wish to spoil the thread, but,
I would rather we finished in the top 6,irrespective of whether Barrow lose 6 points or not.

Nice to end our term in the Championship by qualifying for the playoffs and leaving as championies.

Hope that, once you get there, (as you surely will) you steer clear of us. At least until the GF - should we be fortunate enough to get there. That would then be another great day out.
