I personally couldnt care about getting a quota player, in fact i'd rather we took a stance and filled the side with British players and as many local lads as possible, token Aussies, kiwis and Papuans mean nothing, unless they are of the calibre of Makali or Shad or are hot prospects building a career, no more aussies on sabbatical please hope we dont fill a quota spot just because we can.

Do we really want to be using the quota spot outwide?? surely in the middle in the pack where apart from Makkaili we have struggled.

plus i still think Goddard if fit is among the best centres in the league

sorry but i think we should have got rid of him 2 years ago. Not done anything for ages and has been living on past glories for way too long.

Sounds a good idea, as with the other post earlier about not using a quota place.
However, Yorkshire tried to go back to tradition this year. Most of the season we played with 10 Yorkies and at least twice with 11 Yorkies.
