I tend to disagree.Brings strength and tryscoring ability
to the centre which we have woefully lacked.Maybe KH
could get him fit and motivated ? cant have too many goalkickers.Only a rumour at this stage anyway.

Maybe - no-one else has managed that so far. Mercenary journeyman who's talents aren't as good as what halifax already have in their squad.

Fax have signed some right players - Dane Manning being the pick of them IMO. Morro, if fit, could have a massive impact on the squad and anyone who's read my cobblers on here will know how highly I rated Ross!!!
I just do NOT rate Fat Mick, and barring one (sort of) ok season earlier in his career, I never really have. I honestly believe Fax could and should do better.

i would sign him subject to the salary cap - proven player in this league and if he gets fit pretty devastating

Mick is fine at this level, he trimmed down alot before last year, and had another good year with Leigh.

however i would much preffer an up and coming young SL player, proven in his centre position at reserve level than MN.

if he signs we wont be paying over the odds, as i dont think we can afford to pay much more out by the sounds of it.

Mind you he is a 'big' centre......what people have been calling for.

I do think any team in the championship would be stupid not to take him. In 175 appearances hes scored 164 tries and 791 points. As much of a liability he can be in defence at times, he more than makes up for it in tries. Hes the kind of a player a team like Leigh or Fax need. If you had him and Tyrer at centre, it would be points galore for Fax next year.

If your ever 10 yards out frm the opponents line and you give the ball to Nanyn, he would be very hard to stop. Deserves more credit than what he gets considering his record.

As a Leigh fan, I will not be upset if Nanyn signs for Swinton or Fax or whichever other teams he is linked with. Quite the opposite in fact.
