They dont travel in great numbers. Will be surprised if they bring more than 500. I reckon the attendance will be between 4 and 5k.

Good luck to them. Charlton won't take more than a few hundred though, it's a nothing game for them and it's on the tele. It's like us drawing Hemel Hempstead and it being shown live. You know the result andit's a mis-match so why bother?

The TV money alone will keep Town in business for a good while though.

Not so sure about the crowd Bubba, I think it will be around 4500 to 5000 tops as Charlton are not known for travelling.
How different football is to RL as in RL clubs get nowt for being on TV as Fat Controller makes sure it all goes in his central pot, where does that all go I wonder???
Hope it does make Towna few quid which they can use to kick on to the Blue Square Premier league (the Conference as we all know it).

I might go down, My old man is on about it as well as he can't be bothered with a trip to Swindon with Hudds town, said he'd have gone if it was at home but not gonna get excited about a trip there.

FA cup always turns up a shock or two, often on the telly, Halifax have nowt to lose, if they get tonked its cos they're 4 leagues below charlton, if charlton get beat they get embarassed

BORING!!..........seem to remember a Challenge Cup tie last year bringing 5.5k to The Shay for what was at the time a Pointless game as Fax were mid slump and playing very Poorly! Equally on the TV etc, etc. However being a football town Id expect Town to easily beat that a week on Sunday Gav eh?

I wish Town no malice at all it's my hometown club and I sincerely wish them well, why wouldn't I? Some people should hang their heads in shame at the despicable lies and slander that's been posted over time especially those people claiming to be fans of both clubs eh Gav??
