I can confirm bob has signed for leigh tonight and i for one am looking forward to watching him ply his trade for us instead of againts us !!!!

Great signing for Leigh if true, finally something for you guys to be happy about!

would have loved bob to stay at Fax, but Rhino has a plan, and we cant have everybody.

Im usually a very good judge of player, as many people on here will agree with, but Beswick never did anything for me where as others including Sky seemed to cream over him. For me he was never as good as Penky at Hooker which was obvious to anyone the way our performances improved the minute they were interchanged. Probably played best for us at loose but his tackling let him down on numerous occasions and i guess its a balance between that and the good work he did with ball in hand. I still think he can do a good job for any team in this league its just that i think we have better for next season and he would have been a luxury that we really have no need for.

i thought bob was awesome in defence!

also the amount of tries he created from nothing, alot of which were shown live on sky is probably why Sky 'creamed over him'

Brilliant signing for Leigh. He hasn't got the same attacking flare as Penky, but he is brilliant at organizing and commanding a team around a pitch and is defensively sound.

Will always be remembered for that fantastic hat-trick at Castleford. For me Bob's been one of the smartest players in a footy sense we've seen at fax for a while.
