Heard we have Toulouse Away and it 's gonna be between 24th March and 8th April when me and 2 others will be in Sri Lanka watching Eng cricket play 2 Tests!!! We booked this as we thought there were no away games in France (OK we could draw one in CC) after not missing a game there for last three years and then the RFL come up with this!

Gutted to be missing a few night's in Melting Pot et al but hey ho, curry every day, All Inclusive Hotels , singing Jerusalem (& other songs) getting a tan, visit to the Pearl of the Indian Ocean, a visit to see the Elephant Orphanage and Turtle Sanctuary will have to do. A few rides on the Tuk Tuk's will have to replace the Toulouse Underground and Tiger Beer from India for the Guinness!!!

Thanks RFL good idea but wrong timing for us.

Then again if it's later in the year - Brilliant - as long as it doesn't clash with a 3 night cheap trip to Majorca All Inc to watch Maj v Levante around May Day Weekend.

Thanks for that, just shown the wife, normally I go for just 3 days but now I've told her that as the game is between 24th March and 8th April I will have to go for two weeks so as not to miss it.

How exactly have we qualified for this? Top 4 (5 but Widnes not there) cant be it. Is it via the playoffs which seems rather complicated or some other means? Surely the RFL would have a system by which teams must qualify or is it grab a team that missed out on SL and stick them in a comp? Why is Batley not in there? All seems rather strange to me.

I think someone said it was something to with where everyone finished at the knockout stages.

Post 3 on the previous page , top 2 from league position , 3/4 from play off finishing place

At the Team/Coach presentation to fans night it was revealed that the European Cup will be played on the 1st weekend of June (Extra Bank Holiday weekend too) with Fax due to play the 4th in the French league or Toulouse if they finish o/s top 4 as they have a place promised. As it stands now it would be Carcassonne but there are 14 games left so there is a lot to play for. Last weekend of league fixtures is 21/22 April according to French RL site http://www.ffr13.fr and top of table at moment is:- Lezignan 19 Avignon 16 Toulouse 16 Carcassonne 14 St Esteve 11 Villeneuve 11 Limoux 11 PIA 10 Montpellier 10 Looks like the French trip is back on!!!!
