Another former Super League player to be unveiled for us tomorrow.

Went to Cougar's squad launch last night as I live in Keighley thought I'd have a look at the Boxing Day’s opposition, got to say they've signed on paper what should be a very strong squad. I hope they do well except against us.
The night was started with their Chairman getting on stage to announce another new signing 'Semi Tadulala' along with rest of his squad. Then said they would be defo' top four this season, also be making a trip to Blackpool and then promised all present that they would beat FAX by AT LEAST 20 points on boxing day. Said that other championship teams had been moaning about all their suppa doopa signings named Batley who’d supposedly said cougars couldn’t be within their salary cap said that Fax had been asking him how to get sponsorship cos he’s so good at getting it. Finished meeting saying that this was all in order to get Cougars into Super Doopa League in next round of franchises.
I actually spoke to him after and he repeated again that it was not a empty promise ref' boxing day and said that the reason Fax didn't get into Super League was cos our application was the worst written document that the RFL had ever seen, I hope the Mr Steele reads this and bumps into him on boxing day. Got the impression he doesn’t think very highly of how our club is run.
God I can’t wait for Boxing Day now. COME ON FAX!

They did encourage Fax to write on Basildon Bond paper with gilt-edge trim. Apparently Wakefield and Crusaders submitted their 2007 bids on such paper.

Boxing day = shared gate ?


To pay for their signings ? who actually cares that they might beat us by 20 points on Boxing day ?
I'd love to see a strong enough Keighley side make the top four, they'll hopefully get the chance to come to Halifax in the play-offs.

Yeh I agree its a home game 4 me living on this side of tha hill! Spoke to Chezza he really was sad to go wanted to stay, but he said he didn't figure in rhino's plans, said will miss him in defence. Told JD to play him on wing to use his natural speed! just laughed then went to stop the chairman making anymore score line predictions. Danny Jones was wearing his welsh top with pride, needs to work on his accent though, whilst u couldn't get Paul March off the karaoke he got some grief off some of the cougar fans for past deeds during Q & A's on stage made me smile.
