Got to agree we have no moves like how many balls hit the deck? I counted 5 at least, when we got a foothold on their line in the last 3 minutes (twice) we never looked like scoring, we have no variation in our play and yes I point the finger at the half backs its their job. We aint as good as we think we are and our coach and players need to accept this and dig in, get some moves going and come back more focused, we seem to rely on 'smashing them' which aint working. Leigh taught us how to use the ball again today, they always looked more dangerous near our line and put some clever kicks in. Karl is a forward and maybe he needs an assistant to work with the backs?
They need to work on some moves we just don't seem to have any. Its kicks or darting runs from dummy half. Our backs don't get enough of the ball but don't seem to pass the ball when they do or get in each others way!

did you notice the weather conditions...
not even the best teams would pull ambitious moves off in those conditions.
KH has said himself we are a side built for warm conditions, hence SB lose 2st or else, lets see how we go on a dry day, hopefully some time soon!

So we can only play when its nice and sunny? Thats what I think but you shoud be able to play in all conditions, Leigh have managed it, so did Keighley they just lacked invention a bit like us was why they lost. We have no moves end of story, it goes down the line and nobody switches inside or we have no dummy runners like Leigh, watch the DVD.
Although your pack did a good job on us, your main strengths are out wide. Why then were you so narrow to the extent that Worrincy spent most of his time 30m infield? You showed with Thackery's try what you were capable of if you shifted the ball out wide yet seemed incapable of it because your halves were playing with their head down instead of spotting the gaps out wide.
Think some of you guys are being a little harsh on 'Fax. There really wasn't that much in it. For me it was an impossible day for creativity, although I agree you are struggling at half back. Thackeray has struggled against us, before, although Handforth has given us problems when he was with Batley - but then he's always had another good operator with him. They're not in the same league as the likes of Branighan and Black though - but then who is, in this league. (except perhaps Finn & Briggs)
Nobody has so far mentioned what I thought could have been the game-breaker, in the first half, when you broke clean through and had about five onto our full back, and managed to make a complete 'horlicks' of it. If that chance had stuck, and you'd still got the two tries before half-time........

Think you're being more than a little harsh on McNally there Alan - tremendous full back play and spacial awareness to come out on top in a three on one situation, albeit one Fax would have scored from had Worrincy come inside of his runner.

Yer that pass out to Worrincy was a schocker was it Ben Heaton who passed it? He is a good lad but can't pass the ball, hope he gets back this season though as he can learn but his leg sounds bad.
I'll take back the terrible, to an extent, we were terrible on their line considering the amount of chances we had. But in hindsight our defence was fantastic at times and the majority of players did step up from last week.

Agree the Fax defence was very good for most of the game, just that drop off Duffy really that was poor much better. On another positive note we had good support today, was impressive seeing all those fans in the standing area well done.
