It's unique - it's a Leigh accent. Definitely not scouse though - I think you must be confusding us with Widnes - unforgivable, that!

Its okay a typical modern stadium stuck out of town with a one road in and out sytem, its a nice set up come on better than the Shay facilities wise, but like Thrum Hall was for us lacks the atmosphere and the character that old grounds have.

Karl Harrison........disgraceful and downright dangerous behaviour. Ruined video equipment and narrowly missing spectators and press after booting a water bottle into the stand.

Bentham was dreadful for both sides. The final pass for Worrincy's try was a good three yards forward.

As for the stadium, yes the car park is a nightmare after the game but the roadworks on Atherleigh Way don't help. No idea what else can be grumbled about, especially the roof considering the strength of the wind today?!

Wind blowing in from the east meant that most people in the West Stand got soaked Matt - fair ruined our prawn butties! Normally the wind is from the South West and we stay dry in the West stand. Still, that's modern stadia for you - design the roof so that the light gets to the grass, and the seats get watered for good measure! 'Fax fans were savvy enough to get there early and nab the top two rows.

Yup, I kept nice and dry 3 rows from the back. The roof of the stand would be better if it extended a little further - might make a difference if there weren't the gaps in the corners? Not a criticism, it's a neat ground (other than trying to leave!), but it's not great when it's wet and windy.

It's usually pretty straightforward to leave - given the gates we have been getting! When they are digging up the bridges, on the road outside - an annual event, it would seem - then nobody can get out of the site.

These new-fangled stadia with cantilever stands, that seem to be designed to get everyone soaked, can be a right pain in conditions like yesterday.

Anyway, I reckon it must be you lot who attract the rain! (The Shay last week, Blackpool, yesterday....) Although, I suppose you may be thinking just the same about us?

its taken a while but for me LSV is now feeling like home, constant road works are a nightmare! i usually stay around for 10-20 minutes with the flags to avoid them.

i think the stewards are great to be honest, a few faces i didnt recognise yesterday but usually they help put the flags up early morning

I've no complaints about the LSV, yesterday was my first visit there & I enjoyed the afternoon. Met a Leyther mate for a couple of pints in the Park hotel pre-match and his mates did advise me, nice folks that they were to go & purchase match tix if we hadn't already got them, but I thanked them as we already had them.
Nobody can order decent weather FFS, how can anyone moan about that ?
I'm sure the car-parking situation will be resolved ASAP, we were on the last coach out of there & I'm sure if the result had been different it would have been a totally different atmosphere to the miserable one that we found ourselves in.
I'd much rather re-visit the LSV in future than several SL stadia and about half of the championship grounds that we've had forced upon us over the last few seasons. The Leythers are a decent lot & I wish them all the best in the cup and for the remainder of the league season but they appear to have the Indian sign over us on the field of play at the moment.
