The Northern Rail final (Blackpool) holds a special place with me. Last year I went with my farther, who used to go to every game back in the day. He stopped going when it became summer rugby due to other commitments. Last year was the first time he had seen Halifax play in a long while the result and weather could have been better but it was a good day. It was the last day I spent with my farther as 2 days later he died. I have now moved to a place called Kitimat, in the north of British Columbia, Canada and will not make the game this year. I will however be glued to my PC as always, reading the build-up and then watching the game willing Halifax to win and thinking about my Dad.
I did last weekend (Canada day) get over 300 people singing this Fax is on Fire. I am spreading the word and will try and connect the pc to the TV so I can introduce the Canadians to a tougher game than ice Hockey.
