The article reads as if he wants a two year deal but only Leigh are willing to offer it. Perhaps he is holding out for one here.

Personally I think sitting on it is the wrong thing to do, let him announce he's signed for Leigh and concentrate on leaving in the best way possible. You believe everything the club puts out do you?? Its merely press spin to appease the fans who feel that they are in the dark and want to know what's going on!

Of course he told his sponsor he hadn't signed anything yet!! - The club want a lid on it until the playoffs are over.

Rumour is his dad has told him he will sack him and remove him from the will if he doesn't sign this time.

So you believed the statement the club put out about its license application last season and the fact that the club knew nothing about the fans demonstration etc?

Cos I can assure you that was press spin too

The point im making is everything that the club puts its name to isn't always 100% factual!! Even if they claim it is!

So your talking about your Spirit of 1885 crusade? Well I sure the club were aware of it but kept their distance as any other professional club would do in any sport.

A press spin is very different to fact.

Now then, give me something proper that the club have said that isn't factual?

And yes like Nat said - Player to newspaper story - where the player happens to be playing for Halifax RLFC. I suppose that's the clubs fault too.

We all love Penky but if he wants out then thankyou and

Bring on the next outstanding 9 (there's plenty out there).

with the team recruitments occuring and DP comments that Fax have all the brass why on earth would Penky want out now? Hope he stays but there's life after Penky.
