I understand that AFC Town Halifax have been getting some grief off the league over the amount of postponed games at The Shay.
This may sound a bit barmy, but under that scheme where individuals or groups can bid to take over the running of council services if they think they can do a better job, perhaps resurrecting the Shay Stadium Trust in a new form wouldn't be a bad idea. As long as the council deliver on the promises of the work they said they'd do first.
