I think it`s good that we are still making noises about being ambitious but with the noises coming out of Red Hall about a 10 team division I just can`t see it myself. I also think they may want to put another team from France in too so I wouldn`t think it leaves much room for the likes of us.However we must strive to be the best team in this league regardless of wether we get promoted or not and puting the message out on Look North that we are here is a good way of keeping us in the limelight.

Yeah, cos they ripped up the championship when they were in it!

Hello Crusaders, Gateshead, Paris!

What gets my goat more than anything is the talk by some of putting these "fantasy" teams in SL but yet they ignore and berate all that clubs like ours do as well as ignoring lessons of the past!

The same people that pretend all is well in the game.

I said it before, Toulouse being parachuted into SL will be the straw that breaks this camels back and I will be through with RL sadly. Toulouse being put into SL will see the slow death of clubs like Fax, Fev and Sheffield as well as Toulouse - hardly good for expansion of the sport!

It's all about posturing, like North Korea, put out we're ready for SL and see if we can get a reaction.

I do not wish to dampen anyone's spirits but, you may recall that Malcolm Powell has written a superb novel lately with the second part of the trilogy out soon.
Well I have it on inside information that he has been nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature, and the cameras are there for his acceptance speech.

Just to add to what HJ has said Mr Abbott said we have been speaking to the RFL recently and there was a major shake up coming for the game.

What this turns out to be for Fax and or some of the other clubs will be a case of watch this space however something must be going on as to have an interview like that at the Shay would make no sense.

Tony is obviously in the know just by the way he was talking.

The BOD have to focus on SL as well as this year, otherwise whats the point?
