Normally on the morning of a game I'm rather excited. But today for the first time in a long time I'm questioning wether I really want to go.

I haven't looked forward to a game in a long time!! Even the mrs who never interferes is asking me why I'm bothering!! Can't even get the kids to come!! I can't see anything but a Batley win... Hope I'm wrong but KH needs to walk in my opinion before its too late.... If it isn't already.

I hope I'm proved wrong, but after such a great start to the season the fire has certainly gone out. With all the rumours about players leaving ect, watching a half arsed side has little appeal, I feel sorry for the guys who know they will be here next season, having to play alongside those who don't who arent putting the effort in

Even the Courier can't be bothered putting out an on-line preview of the game to kindle up any interest.

To be fair, the courier is garbage these days. How many times do you go on the website and the "Top Story" you are greeted with is a 2 night stay for 2 in Loch McNowhere or something?

No, it's usually 5 dullards advertising that their Dust Collector tube business in Walsden or Rastrick has won an industry award. Yawwwnnn.

Your both wrong it usually something like ACCIDENT bicycle got puncture on Halifax Rd, police attended scene but nobody was injured... A few spelling mistakes generally thrown in for good measure....!!

Fair play to Tom Scargill with his Town reports though. One of our better Sports journalists.

When I was a young lad, a good Phil Lyon preview of the game, team news and gossip got folk talking in pubs, clubs, homes, factories and offices and would attract substantial floaters to the game.

Main stream media still has a massive effect on Joe Publics decision on deciding what to watch. Unfortunately these days, our local Townsfolk are unwilling to follow their local team and are seen in numbers watching a Man Utd game in the pub.
