I wonder how much a basic scoreboard with a numerical display and maybe a scrolling display. Similar to what Fev have would cost.

That said, it's really not essential.

Just think it looks a bit crap compared to other clubs now in our division who mostly all have electronic scoreboards.

Fev - Yes
Sheffield - Yes, or at least they did have
Halifax - No
Batley - don't think so. Numbers on a board in bottom corner?
Leigh - yes
Doncaster - yes
Dewsbury - no?
Workington - can't honestly remember
Whitehaven - yes
Swinton - comes with the LSV
Keighley - kind of
Barrow - not sure
Hunslet - no
York - yes but it's knackered and you cant make much out

Promoted teams crusaders probably do at Wrexham, but Rochdale never used to have one.

Out of the clubs that do. Some are simply a numerical display. Fev have a scrolling display as well which they can put messages on, but it's rather unlikely we'd get a TV like display, or even a full light board like they used to have at Huddersfield, it wouldn't be much of a step up from what we have now.

Rochdale did have one, but it was broken and was going to cost about 4to 6k to put right if I remember. That's when we were in SL.

Charlie, welcome back, actually Brew does the scoreboard and is very good at it. Why waste money on an electric scoreboard? Brew does it for nowt and with the money saved we could reduce the price of chips.
What's the point of a scoreboard anyway, we always know when we are winning or losing by how much is irrelevant.
