And Behold, a pale horse. And on his back his name was death.

The weekend starts on a Monday.

Castleford Tigers - Grade C
Castleford Tigers provided a well presented and authored application, detailing realistic, intelligent and achievable strategies for future commercial and supporter growth. However the strategies and targets are to a degree based upon the move to a new facility in 2013. At present Castleford are a well-run, sustainable club that lives within its means and produces above average numbers of Super League quality players. Whilst hamstrung by an inadequate facility, and the restrictions on commercial revenues and supporter base this causes, the club makes a good contribution to the Super League. Significant growth of the business is reliant upon the club moving to the proposed new stadium to enable further investment in management, first team squad and player production. The significant challenge for the club in the next Licence period will be to move to the proposed new facility.

Can any one direct me there for tomorrow.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Virtually all those assessments are open to ridicule, probably only Leeds have tangible saleable assets that could produce a monetary value return, all the rest are built on sand

SL? , you're havin a laff

We all knew this would happen Mr Bug!

What did us "flat cappers" know eh? I'd laugh in their face if it wasn't so depressingly obvious!

Here's a question for you though. What do you think their next wonderful scheme will be to get Toulouse in their manufactured sham?

Remember, they've already tried:

Geographical location
Financial stability
New facilities
Youth development
Sound, not speculative business plans

Go for your life

I am genuinely worried that SKY will pull the plug when this deal is up, no mention of it in their 2014 spring advert currently running, so I dont think Toulouse will be given an invite

They could be the only club with a tv deal, if we believe the hype?

I don't think sky will pull the plug, RL sells itself way too cheaply for that. Might offer reduced money or free advertising on sky pencil erasers!

The biggest thing which smacks you in the face with all this is that the RFL allow anybody who will throw their hat in the ring to save a club without much fuss as all the RFL want is to firstly save the clubs concerned which is understandable and secondly to save face and especially the now totally ridiculed FRANCHISE system. The trouble is the people who step forward may be totally unsuitable but it doesn't matter to the RFL they just want anybody out there to step forward, do they check these people? I doubt it as come on we had the double glazing guy at Wakey now bust I believe, the total fruitcake at Salford (ask Swinton and Oldham fans about him) and a curry house owner at Bradford.
Yet as we all have said when Championship clubs had to submit their bids and were very publicly put through the mincer.
But they allow SL clubs to run a bus through their own Franchise rules, this is why I hate it as it means the game is controlled by a few very powerful people who ALL have to bow down to.

It's like a Carry On film . Just seen that the three directors who stood down have now returned to the club .
