I like Donny and thought of Gordon today.

Charlie knew I have seen this result coming , bring on the 13th of April when the Leythers come to Town .As for you John , don't feel to downhearted sorry to hear about your mate Gordon , but you and Bentleyman still have Charlie and Salfordlad to Give a bit of Banter look forward to seeing all my Fax friends .Charlie knows .

Like I said a couple of post above, the team is set up for firm pitches, watch out for out pack, there is none better in the league and before you doubters start, no it's not five drives and a kick, we have options at half back and quality in the backs.
I think today proved we have the right wing combination, Saxton and Potts, both superb.
Out of interest, Luke Adamson would have scored until illegally tackled by Morrison, was a yellow card sufficient.
And what about his kick in the first half on their 20 yard line, reminiscent of Brendan Hills attempted conversion at Thrum Hall.
He didn't return after that, hope he is ok, Mennell also

Really enjoyed today and the 2nd half was fab.... Basics all done great, enthusiasm and played as a team. Good to see what a bit of confidence can do. 80 minutes played hard and fair. Hope a few more are enticed back over next couple of weeks..

We did the business today coming back after that early try for them one of the few times our defence failed as we did not read their 5 on 3 very well but I think it was the tough hits that did for them, we smashed them so that gaps opened up and boy did we score some good tries.
Once again it could have been more as we had the game all wrapped up with 20 minutes to go but good to see we nilled them second half and they never got over our line in 75 minutes, well done lads lets keep this going now the fans will come back down the Shay.
Roll on the next 2 weeks.

Was a bit worried after the first 5 minutes as we seemed to leak gaps but impressed at the final hooter, we didn't seem to play too well yet put up a big score, always a good sign, tester will come in 2 weeks but well played today I expected us to just scrape it not walk away with it. Not sure how they beat Fev last week but by all accounts they all played out of their skins.

Well, I thought we played really, really, well today. Very few mistakes, very few penalties, dominated in the forwards completely, and looked good running down the line as well. One touch-line to touch-line try that I thought we'd never score with Karl as coach ;o) kept going for the full 80 minutes, 48-2 for the last 75 minutes, plus we we running alternate angles and getting (mostly) sensible offloads.

Best performance by far this season for me...
