Im not sure Potts has much of a future at the club, never getting in on the wing if we keep Saxton or Worrincy wins his appeal and not a full back in a million years. His recent outburst on FB probably hasnt helped him either, would be better knuckling down and working rather than moaning too much.

A bit confused as to why we have signed Fox if we are getting Tommy back - this effectively gives us 5 wingers

Be a shame to lose Potts - he looked class earlier in the season. Had a couple of dodgy games with Barrow and North Wales but to be fair so did the majority of the squad. He is only 23 and IMO bags of potential. Both Fox and Saxton are at the back end of their careers (think both are over 30) so we need to building some young talent.

Not sure he should be slated for being upset at not getting a game - that is exactly how he should feel and a bit of passion can be a good thing. These lads live to play and I for one hope he is back for Leigh and showing us why he should be in the squad.

I agree, I'd be more worried if he was happy at not getting a game but maybe social media is not the tight place to have a rant!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its more the way you go about it that counts. Even Jason Walton commented that its hard for him to get in with the wingers that are in front of him. I think Ste Tyrer is a great example of how to handle yourself when getting dropped.

To be fair to him he is probably the quickest player at the club but our style of play probably goes against him because our style more suits powerhouse wingers as its not often wingers are made space. Tough for our wingers to get over 15 tries a season and the only players who will achieve that for us again this season will be a half back and fullback.

So, if you've got quick wingers surely you would possibly look to tailor your play to create the space and get them running?

You would think, but its getting the right players to be able to do that. Only having 1 centre at the club who can pass a ball is probably one of the places that theory breaks down though.

I can't remember whether Potts has been paired up with Tyrer yet ?- or has he always played on the other wing ??
