Regardless of anything else, Leigh did the Championship proud tonight. The final score doesn't reflect the game, and with a bit more luck, and maybe a different option at vital times then we might have been talking about a real upset in the game.

Well done to all 17 who played tonight, alongside Paul Rowley (ex-Fax, of course!) who's built the side you now have.

Looking forward to next Wednesday, and hoping your players are still aching from their efforts tonight!

Thank you to ALL you Fax fans for your messages of support , I agree Sparky with your view on the game ,as for next Wednesday ?Ive said earlier would love to see a good Fax following to cheer your boys on , this game could define what happens for the rest of your season .Im sure our Boys wont use last nights game as an excuse and will come out all guns blazing , wanting to preserve our unbeaten League record , see you all at the LSV .Charlie

Watched the Leeds v Leigh game in a bar in sunny Spain and thought they did the Championship proud-echoed by several SL fans in there!For Jamie Peacock to come out after the game and say 'they were worried' shows massive respect for Paul Rowley the team and the supporters. I was also very impressed by the fact the caoch mingled with his players and supporerters at the end of the game. A key ingredient of any top team is to have that bond! (Fax BOD and coaching staff please take note) No doubt Leigh will now look to go the championship season undefeated and will come out all guns blazing on Wednesday. Looking forward to the game and the usual fight at some point!

After today's results looks like a must win game for Fax as we are way behind Leigh and Fev as it stands and Dewsbury's bonus point now means they are only one point behind us. Even a bonus point won't be good enogh now.Good luck Fax.

We'd have to do a "Leigh" on Wednesday because we are miles behind them in every aspect. There's no mystery - their players are simply better than ours. I still think they'll have momentum and should put us away with ease. Hate being negative but every sign points to a Leigh win.
